Feb 20,1861 En esta dia yo el Presbitero Gabriel Ussel,Cura Parroco de esta Parroquia de Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe de Taos.Despues de unas Deligencias Matrimonales a favor de WILLIAM L.HARMS de Pensylvania y residente de lo de Taos,Con MARIA CAMILA GONZALES S.H.L.de Desiderio Gonzales,Finado y Nicolasa Jaramillo.Concedido las dispensas de disparaded de culto.Sieno el Varon de secta Luterana.Las dispansas de banas y del tiempo prohibido la cuaresma.No parecendo esistir impedimento.Presencie su Matrimonio de sata Testigos juramentados;Mariano Jaramillo y Loreto Chavez.El pretendiente de compromesio solemente en no inquitar en el eyercicio de su religion a la netensa y que todos los hijos seian bautizados y educados en la religion Catolicia.Y Conesta Firme.Gabriel Ussel.
 
-My Rough Translation as follows-Feb 20 1861 On this date I the Presbiter Gabriel Ussel,Priest of this Parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe of Taos after the Prenuptial Investigations in favor of WILLIAM L.HARMS from Pensylvania now resident of Taos,With MARIA CAMILA GONZALES S.H.L.(Single Legitimate Daughter) of Desiderio Gonzales,Deceased and Nicolasa Jaramillo.Obtained the dispensation of disparity of cult.The male being of the Lutheran Sect,The dispensation of Banns and of the prohibited period of Lent.No impediment exists, Marriage performed in front of sworn witnesses Mariano Jaramillo and Loreto Chavez.The (His) solemn agreement not to prohibit her from exercising her religon and all the children to be baptised and educated (trained) in the Catholic Religion (Faith).So It Be So I Signed.Gabriel Ussel.
